Mar 15, 2008. Best bang for the bucks gaming.
If you're just one of those people who want the most for your hard earned dollar, then you might be a little upset at how long 360 games last. They might seem a little short and lacking in the replay area. Well, here's the games that are neither short nor lacking in replay.

The Game of the Year version of Oblivion is a must for all gamers who like Oblivion or roleplaying. The game is already 40 hours long without the expansion packs, but you get at least another 20 hours of fun with the addons. There's a whole world of gaming for one sweet price.

Dead Rising lets you kill zombies with just about anything you can possibly imagine. Although we are little upset about the cardboard zombies, we still love the idea of killing them with a giant stuffed teddy bear, mallet, or the popular chainsaw. The reason this game will last a long time is the diverse ways of actually killing the zombies. It's a whole lot of fun and replaying it is just as enjoyable.

Crackdown gives you a large city and superpowers and lets you do whatever you want with your powers. It's great. If you feel like tossing a few cars at people, you can. Although we admit super strength and the physics engine is the main fun factor in this game, it's got plenty of people to meet and things to do.

Activision did a great thing when making Marvel Ultimate Alliance, they included plenty of characters and content to unlock. And more importantly, they let you keep whatever you unlocked for the next game so you can replay the game with completely different heroes. We admit that you're basically playing the same story with different powers, but there's just something great about playing an entire game as the Avengers, then replaying it as the X-men or Ultimates and seeing your heroes unleashing their full powers.

There's only two good GTA-like sandbox games on the 360 and Saints Row is one of them. (Crackdown being the other). Saints Row has ragdoll physics, more buildings to enter, and some cool stuff you can do to customize your character. We don't like the lack of bikes, but you can get a copy of this game for cheap now and it's certainly is a good game even if it doesn't match GTA in some areas.

The best deal on the 360 is still the Orange Box featuring Half-Life 2 and its addons, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. We're talking over a hundred hours of perfect gaming, whether in single player or mutiplayer. The Half-Life 2 story will have you glued to your chair and the gameplay will make your eyes red from long hours of fun. The one problem with these games is that they are a little weak in the graphics department because they are older, but don't let that stop you. They are all fun.
