May 24, 2008. The best FPS for war gaming on the 360.

We're going to go at it war by war and give you the games that are the best for each major war. Now some wars are missing games. We don't know what that is, but they should fix it right now.

The Great War

There hasn't been many games covering World War I, infact, you would have to go to old PC games such as Red Baron to find them. Why not one for the 360? Maybe the guns were underpowered, but the Great War featured very unique tanks and great aircraft. More developers should make games from this time period.

Brothers in Arms

Brothers in Arms has surpassed Call of Duty as the definitive WWII FPS thanks to better AI and a much more interactive squad that makes you feel as if you are a part of the war. And both series has surpassed the old Medal of Honor series.

Korean War

Probably the most forgotten war in modern American history, the Korean War is rarely portrayed in videogames. The battles in the cities and use of aircraft would make this a very good era for developers to make games.

Vietnam War

The Xbox had a few Vietnam era war games, but the 360 has none. You would think that with the graphical superiority of the 360, there would be more Vietnam War FPS games, but there hasn't been any games. A better representation of the lush tropical climate of Vietnam and the improved particle effects was what the orignal Xbox lacked.

Eternal Sonata

Battlefield 2: Modern War is the best representation of modern warfare on the 360. Why not a Desert Storm title? Because the Gulf War was very one-sided with American forces destroying Iraqi forces with ease. That doesn't make a very good game.

War on Terror

The War of Terror is a new kind of war without huge armies or vehicles, and one that is well liked by developers. Rainbow Six Vegas is without a doubt, the best one on the 360 featuring excellent squad based combat and great graphics.
