June 16 , 2007. Get a free Xbox 360.

Okay. You're probably raising your eyebrow right now. You're wondering who in the world would be willing to give away Xbox 360s? Who has enough money? The Queen? The Pope? Bill Gates? If you guessed Bill Gates, you're close. The answer is Microsoft. Yes, Microsoft is giving away 360s for free. Well kinda. You got to sell them your soul. If you don't want to do that, then all you got to do is play games for them. A whole lot of games.

Club Live

Introducing Club Live. The address is actually club.live.com and it's owned by Microsoft. They got games there. You play the games for free using your Xbox Live or hotmail address. The more games you play, the more tickets you win. Win enough tickets and you can redeem them for a prize. But be prepared. It takes a whopping 35,000 tickets to get a free Xbox 360. Most games give you 20 tickets if you get everything correct. That's a whopping 2000 games you need to be very good at to win a 360. So let's look at the best games you can play to get the most points.

Chicktionary

The first is Chicktionary. This is a basic spelling game. They give you a few letters and you have to make words out of them. The initial ones are easy because as long as you have a few vowels, there's tons of words in the English language you can make. There's no timer and you get 20 points if you get all the words.

Crosswire

Now this is crosswire. It's a very simple matching game you probably did in 1st grade. Basically, there's a person, place, or thing on the left and facts on the right. Just match them. There's 3 rounds and you keep trying to match everything until you get to the next round. You get 20 points for finishing the game and there's no timer and you can guess as many times as you want. There's no penalties for errors.

Seekadoo

Lastly, this is Seekadoo, the standard find the words scramble you definitely did in 1st grade. It's boring and tiresome and we only recommend it because it's a whole lot easier than the trivia.

Now you're probably thinking so what'z? I'z gotz me a 360. Good for you. But if there are people who have no life like us, Club Live is great. And what does Microsoft get out of the deal? Apparently a whole lot of hits for their search engine. Everytime you do something in one of these puzzle games, the search engine returns whatever you type. So basically, Microsoft is getting millions of searches a minute that they can go and use to show their customers that they're getting millions of hits. Real smart.

Speaking of which. If you're smart, there's other games to play. They seem to require knowing trivia nobody cares to remember. But it could be right up your alley.
