EA is really kissing Microsoft ass these days. They released Battle for Middle Earth 2 and now, Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars. If only they would release a keyboard and mouse combo, perhaps these games would play better. Not to say that they play awful or anything, just not on the same level as the PC. But definitely, if you could play this game on the PC, the 360 version is not worth it. But compared to the nonexistent RTS games on the PS3 and Wii, Command and Conquer 3 is the best. Yeah!

Command and Conquer features really bad acting, live-motion videos circa 1990, and cheesy uniforms. This part stinks. They'd be better if you were eating some wings and having a beer late night (drunk). And the story is as retarded as ever. Everybody fighting over some stupid mineral and they throw in some aliens in there too, because you know, videogames without aliens is like wings without beer.

The units are pretty uninteresting. There's plenty of those bland generic tanks and fighters with cool names and crappy features. The alien units are more interesting, mainly because the designers had more freedom in creating their special abilities because these units are completely new. They also use sonic weapons that look very nice when being fired.

The game is pretty easy if you've ever played one of these RTS games. Simply build a large enough force and rush the enemies. What makes Command and Conquer kinda difficult is that the enemies use nuclear missiles that wipe out a large portion of your ground forces. But like all previous AI, they aim for your ground units more than anything else. So if you don't mind the wait and annoyance at having a portion of your ground forces destroyed, you'll beat the game easy through aerial forces and weapons of mass destruction.

Command and Conquer was built for multiplayer and the 360 version is no exception. You got player versus player, king of the hill, and capture the flag. Some modes support up to four players. This game has very high production values. We know we pissed all over the movies, but I'm sure some people find them exciting, probably after smelling paint thinner. The graphics and soundtrack are excellent, although the landscape is a little lacking in color. But Command and Conquer 3 is another well established franchise that is a solid 360 title.
